| Dan River Campground is a family-owned and operated family campground offering a peaceful campground with the quiet of the countryside and fun water activities, as well as quality family camping. Choose from full or partial hook-ups, or secluded, primitive tent sites. There are 40 campsites, 20 of which offer full hook-up with electric, water, and sewer, or partial hook-ups with water and electric only. All sites have either a picnic table or convertable. Fire rings are available on all primitive, all water and electric and some of the full hookup sites. A dump station, telephone hook-ups for monthly rentals, wifi and shaded sites are all available. Guests preferring a more rustic approach to camping can enjoy secluded tent sites; sleep beneath the stars. Daily, weekly, and monthly rates are available. |

| Dan River Campground features many extra touches that you don't find at any campground; guests can enjoy the convenience of a camp store offering some rv and camping supplies, firewood, propane and ice. Walmart is less than 4 miles from the park for your grocery needs. The campground also offers camper storage for your convenience. Dan River Campground also has clean and modern restrooms and hot showers so your stay will be as memorable as possible. Don't forget about all of the recreational facilities the Piedmont campground offers; enjoy the horseshoe pits, volleyball & basketball courts, swings, picnic shelter, and ping pong. There are also opportunities for hiking on the trails along the river as well as picnicking on the banks. WiFi is free for daily rate campers and offered at a small fee for weekly and monthly rate campers.
